The Elopement Package
(Available for wedding dates through to 30 September 2021.
Not available Saturdays in Jan/Feb/March)
The 'Elopement' Package
Celebrant + 3 hrs | 1 shooter | 300 digital images | 5 x 10x8" matted Queensberry prints + presentation box
We provide the celebrant (Lance my hubby) and the photographer for an intimate ceremony in an epic location of your choice. Think back beach at dusk, a windswept picnic up Mount Taranaki, breaking open a bottle of champagne on a clifftop at dawn. This isn’t a major event to organise now with checklists and headaches. This is just about the two of you, exchanging vows.
You bring the dress and some witnesses. You get us for 3 hours which includes getting the two of you legally hitched and a gorgeous couple’s photoshoot. You arrange to celebrate with your family and friends afterwards (or another day) at your favourite restaurant, a bbq on the beach, or a dance party in the bush, whatever is your thing!
Because you’re only booking us in, not multiple vendors, and it’s not on a popular date for us (Saturdays during Jan, Feb and March aren’t available for this), we can move the date easily for you - see details below. Also involving only a handful of people (max of 10 in total, including the 4 of us - bride and groom, photographer and celebrant), it means you have a lot less chance you won’t be able to go ahead if there are still regulations in place limiting big events or impacting on movement.
Excludes Saturdays during January, February and March.
Location must be within a 30 min drive of New Plymouth- have somewhere a bit more far flung in mind? Check this out with us.
The photography only covers the ceremony and a couple's photo shoot.
This package includes a one hour zoom consultation with both the photographer and celebrant to nut out the details. We'll also give you some ideas for what to expect and how to personalise it.
A $1000 deposit is required to secure your date. This is not refundable, however it can be transferred to another date or package
that works for both of us, without any financial penalty.
Moving the booked date can be done right up until the day before the ceremony for good reason - such as someone needing to be in isolation, someone is sick (not just a cold sorry, but say enough say for a doctor’s certificate), the Government has asked us to stay at home, flights have been cancelled and someone really important can't make it type thing.
Decide closer to the time that you do want to do the full on wedding or that you want 20 or 120 people there as you do the deed?
Then you can change to one of our straight wedding photography packages (4 hours+). However, the celebrant isn't included in these packages, you'd need to organise another celebrant, as once you start adding more than a few people to an event, there are quite a few more details to be worked through with your celebrant and they need to spend more time preparing and helping co-ordinate the day as a result.
We've specified 10 people in total as that seems to currently be what the government is indicating will be acceptable for level 3, which gives extra flexibility.
