Okurukuru Winery / Taranaki
Mirae and Callum had such a beautiful day, from blustery cliff top wedding shots (these guys were total troopers getting this shot, the photos don't quite convey how ridiculously windy it was, and how much they had to battle out to the points I wanted them to get to) to family from all over the globe, to glorious detailing, funky dance moves, and fireworks for their official entry. Okurukuru winery is a lovely wedding venue, set just outside of New Plymouth, Oakura. It has sweeping vineyards that meet ocean clifftop, and the venue takes in all of this epic view. The downside is the Taranaki wind, but with the ceremony in the cute wee rose garden, the couple had a lovely ceremony (the family photos they wanted outside were another matter, but they all survived intact, so all is well that ends well), and were able to retreat inside to party the rest of the night away. Congrats guys!
