Oh my gosh, I am not a crier at weddings generally, when you're taking photos it's a little hard to concentrate on what's being said exactly, but oh, this one from the weekend, the absolute sweetheart of a bride doing her vows to her new step sons as well, and watching the 8 and 10 year boys precious faces so overcome with emotion in response - carrying out the sand ceremony together, oh so gorgeous. And what an amazing vibe of support and good will towards this lovely couple. What a beautiful testament to love and new life. I also loved getting the chance to shoot at the Waiongana gardens, which are just gorgeous and with so many little secret spots just perfect for photographing a bridal couple. The presentation of the korowai to the groom was pretty emotional as well, as well as spectacular to photography. The ceremony took place at East End Surf Club, absolutely transformed by Victoria Jayne's VS Events, with all those gorgeous details she does so well. Here are some of my favourites from the day...
