Te Maru Farm / Oakura / Taranaki
Tim and Christine got hitched out at the lovely Te Maru Farm, just past Oakura in Taranaki. If you're looking for that rustic wedding venue vibe, then this is one of the goodies here in Taranaki. Not so far from New Plymouth, it comes complete with horses and all sorts of well thought through spaces for guests to mingle and wander, and this amazingly beautiful wooden barn structure. Tim and Christine were a lot of fun to hang out with for the day, super relaxed (apart from perhaps a highly competitive lawn bowls match to start the day for the boys) we did first look wedding photos around the venue, before the wedding ceremony and then rolled from there into the wedding reception. I particularly loved the groom-brewed beer especially brewed for the occasion - although I didn't try any, so I have to trust it tasted and good as the label promised! Congrats guys!
